I started taking a black dish towel to work to use as a napkin all week. I actually took two so that if I forget to bring it back on Monday, I have a spare. Saves on using paper products.

One time Tracy was getting introduced to a new class. The teacher said, "Class, this is Tracy. She's new."
Tracy said, "I'm not new. I'm five years old!"

When the girls were four, they started ballet lessons. After they learned their first recital number, Wendy asked me if I knew how she remembered the steps. She said she counted in her head. Then she tilted her head and raised her eyes as if in thought. When she assumed she had demonstrated counting in her head long enough she said, "I don't know how the other kids do it."

When I was twenty-nine, my piano teacher held a recital at her house. The audience, made up of  parents and my husband, was in the living room while the other "kids" and I waited in the kitchen for our turn to perform. When one seven year old boy returned from the living room, his friend heartily slung his arm around the boy's neck and blurted out, "You didn't tell me you could play with both hands!!"
